What We Collect

We aim to collect as little as possible. The table below summarizes what data passes through this service and how it is handled.

• Collected Temporary email address. A randomly generated address is assigned to your session. The address exists on our servers only for the 15-minute TTL. After expiry it is deleted, along with all associated messages.
• Collected Incoming email content. Messages sent to your temporary address are received and stored briefly so they can be displayed to you in the inbox. Content is deleted when the address expires. We do not read, index, or analyze message content.
• Collected Standard server logs. Our infrastructure (Cloudflare Workers) logs request metadata — IP address, timestamp, HTTP method, and response code — as part of normal server operation. These logs are retained per Cloudflare's standard retention policy and are not used for user profiling.
• Not collected Personal identity. We do not collect your name, real email address, phone number, date of birth, or any other personally identifying information. No account is created when you use this service.
• Not collected Browsing history or tracking pixels. We do not embed tracking pixels, run session recording software (e.g., Hotjar), or collect behavioral data about how you navigate the site beyond what standard logs capture.
• Not collected First-party cookies. This site does not set any cookies of its own. Your session — the temporary address and its expiry time — is stored in your browser's sessionStorage, which lives only in the current tab and is never sent to our servers.

sessionStorage Usage

When your temporary address is generated, two values are written to your browser's sessionStorage:

• 15me_address — the temporary email address assigned to you.
• 15me_expiresAt — the Unix millisecond timestamp at which the address expires, as returned by the API.

sessionStorage is a browser-native store with two important privacy properties. First, it is scoped to the current tab — it is not shared with other tabs or windows, even from the same domain. Second, it is cleared automatically when you close the tab. There is no way for another website to read it, and it is never transmitted to our servers.

If you close the tab before the 15 minutes are up, your address and any unread messages are permanently inaccessible. This is by design: the absence of persistent storage means we cannot retrieve or associate the address with you after your session ends.

Advertising — Google AdSense

This site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense (publisher ID: ca-pub-5162971029436977). AdSense is how we cover the costs of running this free service. We do not receive any payment from advertisers based on user data we provide — AdSense handles ad targeting independently based on Google's own signals.

Google may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to serve personalized ads based on your browsing activity across the web. These are third-party cookies set by Google, not by us. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings or by using the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out tool.

Third-Party Services — Cloudflare

This site's backend API and email routing run on Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare Email Routing. As the underlying infrastructure provider, Cloudflare processes all network traffic that passes through our services. This includes your IP address and request metadata.

Cloudflare's role is limited to infrastructure — they do not receive message content in a form they control or retain beyond their standard logging practices. For Cloudflare's privacy commitments and data handling details, see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

This site also loads fonts from Google Fonts. Font requests may expose your IP address to Google's servers. Google Fonts does not set cookies and does not track individual users across sites. See Google Fonts privacy FAQ for details.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, the effective date at the top of this page will change. We will not notify users of changes by email (we do not have your email address). If the nature of data we collect changes materially, we will update this page before the new practices take effect.

Continuing to use the service after the effective date of an updated policy constitutes acceptance of the changes. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
